MIL Jewellery é uma marca de joalharia contemporânea com um sentido estético único, inspirado nas formas geométricas, no minimalismo e em padrões. Todas as suas coleções são a combinação de modernidade e manualidade, expressas a partir de linhas simples e elegantes. O nosso estúdio é localizado na vila da Nazaré - Portugal, onde todas as coleções são desenhadas e produzidas por nós a partir de técnicas manuais e tradicionais, usando materiais amigos do ambiente. Feitas por encomenda, todas as peças são realizadas com todo o carinho e atenção aos detalhes. Produzimos apenas peças da nossa autoria, que representem a nossa identidade e valores.
MIL Jewellery is a contemporary jewellery brand with a unique sense of creativity, inspired by geometric shapes, minimalism and patterns. All of the collections are a combination of modern designs and craftsmanship, expressed in simple and elegant lines. Our studio is based in the village of Nazaré - Portugal, where all the collections are designed and produced using manual and traditional techniques with eco-friendly materials. Made by order, all of our jewellery production is made with care and attention to details. We only produce pieces designed by us that represents our identity and values.

Acreditamos que os números têm um impacto místico nas nossas vidas. Daí a maioria das nossas coleções terem números como nome e o seu significado como mote inspiracional.
We believe that numbers have a mystical impact in our lives. That’s the reason why most of our collections are named after numbers and inspired by their meanings.
PORQUÊ MIL? • WHY MIL?
O nosso nome, para além de estar conectado com o apelido da Catarina, também é inspirado na Numerologia. O número 1000 é o símbolo da paixão e do amor, do desenvolvimento das nossas habilidades em prol dos outros e significa mudança. Para além disso, é sempre utilizado para engrandecer algo que queremos dizer e sentir, tais como “Mil obrigadas” ou “Andar a Mil”.
Our brand name is connected with Catarina’s surname, but also has a numerological meaning (means “thousand” in Portuguese). The number 1000 is the symbol of passion and love, the development of your habilities towards others and means change. Besides, in Portuguese we use a lot the word “mil” when we want to enhance something that we want to say or feel, for example “A thousand thank yous”.

Defendemos que o impacto ambiental que o sector da joalharia representa necessita de ser melhorado. No estúdio, damos o nosso melhor por utilizar materiais amigos do ambiente e reutilizar matérias-primas, reduzindo assim a nossa pegada ecológica.
We believe the environmental impact present in the jewellery industry should be reduced. In our studio, we give our best to use environmental friendly materials and recicling our raw materials, reducing our ecological footprint.
CATARINA MILITÃO
A Catarina é a fundadora e a mente criativa por de trás da MIL Jewellery. Desde os seus 12 anos que soube que queria ser Designer de Jóias. Licenciou-se em Design Industrial (ESAD.CR) e especializou-se em Joalharia (Contacto Direto) e Gemologia (GIA). Depois de 6 anos a morar em Londres (Reino Unido), onde trabalhou para outros designers e marcas de luxo, voltou para Portugal e fundou a MIL Jewellery em 2018. Ao longo dos anos, o seu trabalho tem vindo a ser distinguido em vários concursos a nível nacional e Internacional.
Catarina is the founder and the creative mind behind MIL Jewellery. Since her 12 years old, she knew that wanted to be a Jewellery Designer. Catarina is trained as an Industrial Designer (BA Hons at ESAD.CR) and specialized in Jewellery Design (Contacto Direto) and Gemology (GIA). After living 6 years in London (UK), where she worked for different designers and luxury brands, Catarina moved back to her roots and founded MIL Jewellery in 2018. Along the years, her work have been awarded in several national and international competitions.
